Online bidding ends Saturday, January 27th @ 7:00pm central time.
Pearce & Associates and BidWInCruise is conducting another quality online collector car auction which features some outstanding vehicles from several estates. We are also accepting consignments for this event. Over 90% of our consignments result in a sell through with our auctions.
Current Vehicles in this auction:
* An outstanding and rare 1933 Ford Tudor Sedan from the late Charles Wilson Estate. Mr Wilson passed away a few months ago. He was a member of the Model T and Model A clubs of American and was an avid car collector and expert mechanic on flathead ford engines. Mr Wilson purchased this 1933 Ford in 2009 and was a part of his Model A and Model T collection. Pearce & Associates recently sold 2 of his 1929 Model A's in another auction. This car has been completely restored. We believe it has a 1949 Ford V8 flathead engine and the car has been upgraded to 12 volt electrical with an electric fuel pump. It was restored to drive and enjoy. The car shows outstanding with no damage or rust anywhere. The interior is excellent and it features a manual transmission. It cranks, runs and drives excellent! 1933 Fords are rare and difficult to find, especially in this condition. This one was a prize in Mr WIlson's personal collection of cars.
* Spectacular 1950 Ford F100 Pickup Truck. This truck was built and owned by the late Mark Burdette of Cullman County, Alabama. Mr Burdette was a serious car collector and owned a large collection of some of the finest fords you can find. Mr Burdette was known as the "Flathead Guru" and was an expert in building flathead engines. This Ford pickup had no expense spared and had a nut and bolt, frame off restoration. It is absolutely Beautiful! The 50 Ford features one of Mark's handbuilt custom 1949 Ford Flathead engines with twin carbs. The truck has an original manual 3 speed transmission and dual exhaust. With exception to the engine, it was restored original inside and out. Over $65,000 was invested by Mr Burdette during the restoration. 1940's and 1950's Pickups have skyrocketed in value over the past few years and a truck like this one is certain to be a great investment. You won't find another one just like this one. The body is absolutely perfect, paint looks new, the bed and wood/stainless kit are amazing and it cranks and runs like new.
* 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe - 30,000 actual miles! This Corvette was also owned by the late Charles Wilson. Mr Wilson purchased it in 2009 from Cooper Chevrolet and only drove it 3 miles since then. He kept it in his garage until he passed. This car is in outstanding condition and features heads up display, automatic transmission, dual climate control, leather interior, 2 tops including a tinted glass top, brand new set of Michelin tires and car cover. It has been well cared for and has no damage or paint work. The car has never been altered from its original state. Clear Alabama title in hand goes with this car.
* An extremely rare and highly desirable 1948 Spartan Manor, 25' travel trailer! This amazing original trailer was built by the Spartan Aircraft company in Tulsa Oklahoma. Spartan's are the most desirable and collected travel trailers ever built and are very difficult to find. Spartan, owned by J Paul Getty built aircraft during WWII. After the war, he continued to utilize his production workers by transforming the facility into building high end travel trailers using the same tooling and dies that he used for aircraft. This particular Sparton Manor was purchased new and owned by a former WWII pilot in South Dakota. The trailer is completely original with its birch paneling and aluminum exterior and interior trim. This Manor did not come with any plumbing or bathroom. It is all original. Restored Spartan's fetch up to $100,000. This unit was found stored in the former owners barn. It is in overall good condition with no major damage, leaks or rot in the floors. The exterior aluminum is in remarkable condition with only minor hail pings that could be easily removed. The front window is plexiglass and was removed for transport to our facility. It goes with the trailer. The 1940's era Art Deco design of this trailer is outstanding! A true barn find with incredible potential as a vintage family camper, mobile coffee or food trailer or as a part of a private antique vehicle collection. You won't find another one like it within 500 miles of here!
